Abrazala & Setenta - Peter

March 21, 2005

enchufe-dame without changing partner as usual Monday (1,2,3 - 5,6,7 - 1,2,3 - 5,6,7)
Abrazala
change to R-R hold at the end of cross body lead
[Pimienta-like 1,2,3
turn partner counterclockwise ~1 1/2 on 5,6,7 ... on ~6,7 my (free left hand goes up to avoid tangling) while I make ~90 counterclockwise turn to end up facing same direction as partner and in front and to right of partner - on 8, rest left hand on partner's left shoulder (behind partner's neck)
step backwards on 1,2,3 (as partner moves forward) in a rotation
hook turn (or gradual 360 clockwise turn) on 5,6,7]
enchufe-like 1,2,3
switch hands to croquetta on 5,6,7
to center and back on 1,2,3
croqueta cross-body lead to original position on 5,6,7
Sientala (wrap on 1,2,3 (partner turns counterclockwise) quick up and down & unwrap on 5,6,7) then another enchufe-dame without changing partner
Setenta
open hold at the end of dame
pimienta-like 1,2,3 with both hands & by 4 or even 3, left hand needs to be up & right hand down
on 5, partner does a quick 360 turn ... walk forward to close gap on 6,7
during 1,2,3 unwrap as walkaround is done in clockwise direction
probably need to continue walking clockwise on 5,6,7 as arm lock position is achieved
release arm lock to reach dame (no change in partner) position on 1 and finish dame 2,3 & across on 5,6,7

I did most of this routine among others with Cinzia afterwards. She said she liked it and recommended that I try to be less tense.
